Dear member,
The Association will process your personal data in compliance with EU Regulation 2016/679 "General Data Protection Regulation" (GDPR), a regulation that governs the protection of individuals and other subjects with regard to the processing of personal data, which must be based on the principles of fairness, lawfulness, transparency, and protection of your privacy and rights. With regard to the personal data that this Italian Association for the Prevention of Childhood Obesity will come into possession of, we inform you of the following:
1. PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING
The processing is carried out exclusively for the performance of institutional activities and for the management of the membership relationship, and in particular for:
- correspondence and traceability of members and calling of meetings
- payment of the membership fee
- fulfillment of legal and insurance obligations
- sending the Association's newsletter
- information campaigns related to Association activities
2. METHODS AND DURATION OF DATA PROCESSING
Processing will be carried out and data stored by authorized personnel, in paper form. Information operations, such as the newsletter, are carried out with the support of electronic or otherwise automated tools.
Data will not be communicated to third parties nor disseminated.
Depending on the purposes of the processing, the law provides for storage for a maximum of 10 years.
3. PROVISION OF DATA
The provision of personal data is strictly necessary for the performance of the activities referred to in point 1. Indicating your name, date of birth, address, telephone, and email is necessary for the management of the membership relationship and for compliance with legal obligations. The provision of other data is optional.
Scope of communication and dissemination of data:
Your data may and must be communicated to all those natural and/or legal persons, public and/or private, when the communication is necessary or functional to the performance of our activity and in the ways and for the purposes described above.
4. REFUSAL TO PROVIDE DATA
Any refusal by the data subject to provide personal data in the case referred to in point 3 will make it impossible to carry out the activities referred to in point 1.
5. TERMINATION/WITHDRAWAL OF THE MEMBERSHIP RELATIONSHIP
In case of termination of the membership relationship or withdrawal, the data will no longer be processed and will be stored exclusively in the paper membership register kept by the person appointed by the Association, except for what concerns the periodic newsletter from which the data subject can unsubscribe independently at any time without the obligation to terminate.
6. RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT
As a data subject, you are guaranteed all the rights specified in Art. 15 GDPR, including the right
of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and objection to data processing, to withdraw
consent (where given) to processing (without prejudice to the lawfulness of processing based on consent acquired before withdrawal), and to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority.
The exercise of rights may be exercised by written communication to be sent to the
